I have a current (unhealthy) obsession with all things fringe. Here is a selection of wonderfully fringey pieces that have caught my eye recently. Most are massively unaffordable, but it doesn't hurt to look now does it. I have also been eyeing up this, but it got me thinking about how easy (I use the term lightly) it would be to DIY. Basically, taking an old band tee and getting crafty with a pair of scissors. It could be disastrous, or it could be a masterpiece. I shall keep you posted.

VELVET

Jacket: TOPSHOP
Playsuit: ASOS

Please ignore my grotty nails. I recently rekindled an old habit (biting my nails) arghhhh...I know dis-cust-ing and wrong, so wrong. I don't know why or when it happened, all I know is that I used to do it when I was younger, then stopped for years and had lovely, long painted nails all the time and life was fabulous, but the beastly, dormant habit has arose yet again. I'll kick it though, there's nothing worse than trying to paint stubby little nails. In the meantime, I have showered my hands in vintage rings to make them pretty again.

FINAL REDUCTIONS

Seeing as I've managed to avoid the sales as much as possible throughout January, as soon I spotted the Final Reductions sign in Topshop I decided it was OK to let myself have a little wander and I'm happy I did as I ended up leaving with these beauts at a fraction of their RRP. I bagged this gorgeous lace slip dress for £15, a pair of glitter flock spot tights for £5, a long beaded necklace for £8 and some (adorable) animal shaped candles for £2.

LAZY

Uber lazy day today, slobbing around in my tracksuit (shh), so here is what I wore yesterday (minus a jacket). I'm practically living in this Topshop vest at the moment. It's soft and comfy, plus goes with practically anything. I noticed in the New In section on Topshop, they've started adding their S/S 11 stock too! So many pretty cami tops & floppy beach hats. Better start getting my save on then.

FUCHSIA

Dress: VINTAGE | Jacket: TOPSHOP

Not a clue what this stance is all about I'm afraid, I was a bit giddy on my way out.
The dress is a steal from my mum's wardrobe which I saved from a clear-out. It's ultra soft and floaty and so easy to wear as it goes with pretty much anything. I recently bought some amazing fuchsia lip paint from Lord & Berry which I haven't had the bottle to wear up until now as it's very in-your-face (excuse the pun) but I think it goes rather well with the whole monochrome look.

MONKI

Knits: Caitlyn, Jeanelle, Cassie, NinaCassie
Leggings: Elna, Carrie, Alli, Addison, Elvira
Accessories/Jewellery: Furry, Onora, MarjaLibbyGayle
Skirts: Astro, Catherina, Carrie, Kaja, Lola
Tops: Alaia, Filippa, Marja, Laurell, Tiana

Recently I discovered the clothing shop Monki and got all over-excited (even more so when I saw how affordable it was), however depression soon kicked in when I found out that it was near impossible for me to ever own any of these amazing pieces as unfortunately England is practically the only place in Europe that doesn't have a Monki shop, nor does it have an online store. Nightmare! So instead of crying about it I decided to blog my very favourite pieces from their collection, as you do. It was a tough job, but in the end I managed to little it down to 5 each of the following categories - Knitwear, Leggings, Accessories/Jewellery, Skirts & Tops.
